Home center 2.7.3.18

This update mainly contains some improvements and bugfixes.

New in this update

Feedback from inputs is now visible in all clients.
Velbus VMB7IN energy measurement now supports the liter and m³ and shows 2 decimals. Execute read changes to get the correct values!

Velbus momentaries are removed: please replace them manually with designated inputs!

Improvements

Windows client: shade button now works exactly like in the iOS app and Web app: going up and down now toggles in stead of separate function for the upper half and lower half of the button. Also it’s now more clear when the shade is open or closed.
Velbus: Macro’s are no longer created because they are obsolete, since all inputs are available. Existing macro’s are not removed and still work.
Windows client: from the ‘About’ screen you can now directly download the correct version of the Windows client (this will be useful in future versions of Home center)

Bug fixes

Web: background color of zones was not visible
Web: full rebuild of settings due to modifications since Chrome 43
Windows client: improved login: better message when trying to log in with a wrong username and password
Logic: rules which contain a ‘=’ in the URL didn’t open the correct web page.
Logic: input values where not evaluated correctly. Short press & long press
Luxom: dimmers, toggles and shades where sometimes displayed as inputs in stead of their real function
Luxom: possible blocking of port 2300 after executing read changes has been solved

Improvements and bug fixes

In the windows client, you can make a full copy of a zone in ‘Manage zones’
When doing ‘read changes’, ‘full reset’ and at initial setup, a progress on the scanning of the bus is shown on screen (web and Windows Client)
Web interface: Status of shades was neither up or down
Logic module: when a rule triggers an input, now the ‘press’ and ‘release’ is send, before only the ‘press’ was send
Velbus: the thermostat of the VMBGPOD is now always added from the bus (Execute ‘read changes’ if you are missing a VMBGPOD thermostat)
Music Sonos: when switching between radio and playlists, some text of the previous action was still shown
In some cases the server status remained ‘not ready…’ when it actually was done. (When executing ‘read changes’ twice)
Possible connection lose when creating and editing zones with ‘Manage zones’

Updating your VMBHIS

If you have v2.7.1.2 or later, a notification will be visible on the login page about the new version.
Go to the Settings on the VMBBHIS web interface and execute the ‘Update software’.

For non-VMBHIS users

All updates, except the specific updates of the web interface (only available on VMBHIS), are also available. The download of the setup including the Home center server is on the special download page. In case you don’t have this link, send us an e-mail, then we will send you the link.

Home center 2.7.2.2

We released a new update for Home center, which contains the following improvements:

Bugfixes

Time sync page was unavailable
Dynamic DNS no-ip didn’t work
On the iPad the images were not always loaded (happened with large images and slow connection)
When performing a read change and something goes wrong during the reading of a module, sometimes the names in Home center disappeared
VMB7IN Energy values weren’t available at Home center service start up
VMB2BLE shades status weren’t correct at Home center service start up
When scrolling the web interface on a phone with inputs, an input could be triggered by accident while scrolling.

Improvements

Support for the new Velbus module VMB1RYNOS was added.
Some configuration from the Home center Windows has also been added to the web interface. We added a configuration page where you can execute: ‘Create backup’, ‘Restore backup’, ‘Read changes’ and ‘Full reset’.
‘Rename outputs’, ‘Logic functions (rules)’, ‘User management’ no longer require a ‘restart service’, but only need a ‘reload config’. This makes that the changes are in effect after just a few seconds and clients no longer lose their connection.

Updating your VMBHIS

If you have v2.7.1.2 or later, a notification will be visible on the login page about the new version.
Go to the Settings on the VMBBHIS web interface and execute the ‘Update software’.

For non-VMBHIS users

Home center 2.7.1.13

This version contains some bug fixes since v2.7.1.1 v2.7.1.2 and v2.7.1.8

This version improves the stability of the connections with VMBTP8 and Home center server installed on Windows:

Unable to reconnect
Hanging HomeCenter.exe process.

For VMBHIS:

Improved stability for connections to SONOS players: in some cases no Home center client could connect to the VMBHIS. The VMBHIS had to be restarted.
The initial state of outputs could be wrong when opening the web app
Rename outputs: you can sort the list again.
Rules: better naming of values

We are expecting to have a bug fix version for iPhone and iPad soon available in the App Store.

Home center 2.7.1.8

This version contains some bug fixes since v2.7.1.2 and v2.7.1.1:

Subaddresses of VMBGPOD could not be changed through VMBHIS.
Calculation of energy measurements were not always correct (VMB7IN)
Connection management in the VMBHIS has been improved: sometimes it was not possible to connect after some time and the VMBHIS had to be restarted.
Invalid characters in module names (visible in Velbuslink when reading modules) could crash Home center.
Some internal fine tuning

If you have v2.7.1.2, a notification should be on the login page about the new version.

Go to the Settings on the VMBBHIS web interface and execute the ‘Update software’.

This is a BUGFIX version, we made available for all users who have 2.7.1.2 installed, even if your license updates have expired since 2.7.1.2 was released.

For non-VMBHIS users the same things apply.
The download of the setup including the Home center server is on the same page as v2.7.1.2.

Home center 2.7.1.2

This is a minor update for Home center 2.7.1.1

Resolved: The communication between VelbusLink and the Velbus modules was unstable resulting in package loss. Some modules where not discovered.

VMBHIS users will receive a notification on the login page when this new version is online.
